Updated: Jun 28, 2020

This book follows Prophetic Writing for Stage & Film and the foundational book, Prophetic Directing for Stage & Film™ as part of a revolutionary original series, delivered from the literary storehouses of heaven. In “18 Prophetic Writing Elements for Stage & Film”, script writers will get a breakdown of the 18 Prophetic Writing Elements that should be evident in their scripts. The 18 Prophetic Writing Elements will ensure that the kingdom message is being delivered to the production cast, crew and audiences, in a way that will provoke change, ultimately reconciling the audience and those in the productions; back unto Christ.

Now Available on Amazon.com in E-Book form or Hardcopy.

“What makes prophetic writing for stage and film different from entertainment is the heart of God expressed in a way that causes people to want to line up with the original intent of God’s purpose for their lives.” (L.A. Holts, “Prophetic Writing for Stage & Film” page viii.)

The 18 Prophetic Writing Elements for Stage and Film are a game changer when it comes to your scripts. Having something to look for and implement in your script writing, will cause your writing to be enhanced; stretching your Holy Imagination and thrusting you, into a higher level of prophetic writing for stage and film. The first five Prophetic Writing Elements are: 1. Give Honor to God, 2. Express the Heart of God, 3. Convict 4. Warn 5. Walk People Through Healing.

How many times have you sat in a theater and thought to yourself, something is missing but I can’t quit put my finger on it? Or, the script was okay, but the conviction level was missing, therefore the entire Christian message was lost. Well, I know I have, and I’ve learned that what bothers you, is usually what you’ve been called to change.

Understand that every script may not display all 18 Prophetic Writing Elements within the same script, and that’s okay. I’ve found myself, the more elements that are present, the more well-rounded the script is in the traditional sense. There are several types of scripts that we as prophetic writers may write. I tend to write from an abstract perspective and from a non-traditional beginning, middle and ending. Keeping my writing style in mind, there have been times when a script that I have written featured a single dominant prophetic writing element theme throughout. As in the case with my play, “13 Men”, which moved heavily in the “Addressing Issues” Prophetic Writing Element. There were several other elements present, but Addressing Issues was the primary Prophetic Writing Element that drove the script.

I am tired of watching prophetic script writers lose the intended message simply because they didn’t have a guideline by which to write in the first place. The 18 Prophetic Writing Elements for Stage and Film will challenge you, but the goal is to be better. We all have room to grow into our callings as prophetic writers for stage and film. There is no more time to be timid.

"There is no more room to continue to write watered down scripts that leave the audiences in the same state they were in when they first sat in their seats."   -L.A. Holts

There is no more room for under-developed ideas that lack clarity for the consumer. There is no more time to be afraid to cry loud and spare not as souls are at stake. There is no more time for prophetic writers for stage and film to continue compromising what should be sacred. We are living in a time when alternative facts are the new norm and we must use the pen of the ready writer to make the crooked places straight, one script at a time. We are God’s army, mobilizing to take the stage and movie houses by storm. The world is waiting for us.

Romans 8:19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
