Inhale... Exhale
Inhale... Exhale
My breath got stuck in my throat
Because the sin I was in made
Me choke
Without a doubt I waited patiently to exhale
Because my breath was trapped locked up in jail
I couldn't comprehend
why I wasn't getting any oxygen
Like a bad asthma attack I was on my way out
It started with the wheezing and breath wouldn't come out
I wanted desperately to drink water
But my spirit man had a drought
God had to step in cause I couldn't freely breath in and out
Like the lump in your throat when you're trying not to cry
Or a piece of food that gets lodged feels like your about to die
Or the albuterol that doesn't seem to work
When they force the tube down your throat and your body starts to jerk
When your spirit cries out to God on your behalf
Cause your flesh is running ramped
And your time is on it's last
When you wanted to breath peace but was suffocated by your past
When salvation knocked on the door of you soul
But you turned your back and laughed
When you grandmother felt death around you dropped to her knees in travail
And bound the devil that had stolen Gods time and rebuked him back to hell
Had I not hooked up to my spiritual EKG
I wouldn't have known about the rhythm of my own heart beat
I wouldn't have known about my irregular electricity
Wouldn't have known I needed Kingdom shock therapy.
I wouldn't have known I needed prophetic words to speak life into me
Cause all this time I was waiting to exhale I was a dead woman walking
But my intercessor Jesus and the Holy Ghost were talking
and God the Father told death to stop stalking me
And my spirit man heard the voice of God and He said breath
Inhale and exhale cause He's got an assignment of ministry for me
Told me to get up cause I was just sleep
So I opened my eyes and the demons began to weep
Cause the devil should have killed me when he had the chance
But it's too late cause God and I are in a full out romance
And I don't have all night to tell you my story
Let's just say the greater the persecution the greater the anointing
Jesus be my breath of life
To the hills is where I'm pointing
Some of us appeared dead but were just comatose
When they wanted to pull the plug on our purpose
Mercy said no, Lord of Host
The ministering angels came down from heaven while I slept
And whispered into my ear God says breath in, exhale
Now come back
He pulled me out of darkness into His Marvelous light
I shall call you the Poetic Prophet
And you shall be my prototype
Set apart for my Glory that shall shine through when you write
and poetically speak
you shall be bold and I'll unlock Kingdom mysteries
You shall be known as the eyes have not seen
Called into the 5 fold ministry
To snatch back the souls who were cursed generationally
The walking in the desires of your heart
Get ready for your spiritual bling
Cause God isn't a man that He should lie
And His Son Jesus is our promise ring
No longer on my way to hell
I can now freely breath
Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale
